Colleague links come from OpenAlex affiliation histories — same institution with overlapping years. They map who was where together; they do not prove two people overlapped in the same department day to day. Classmate links (same PhD school, overlapping years) are curated by hand for the core set and marked verified or inferred. Expansion to the full UTD24 and FT50 journal lists is planned. The wide view is capped for browser performance; the complete dataset (2,846 researchers, 40,000+ connections) is in the page data file.
